On Thursday, April 30, 2015, EmblemHealth published a list of owners of unclaimed property in The New York Daily News, as required by the New York State Abandoned Property Laws. These unclaimed properties are checks issued to providers and subscribers by GHI, HIP and Vytra in 2011, which have not been cashed.
Instructions for claiming the uncashed checks are included at the end of each published list of providers and members. All questions about these public notices of unclaimed property should be directed to:

All claimants must present a notarized letter claiming the uncashed funds to the above address or fax number. The notarized letter must include:
- Name
- Current address
- Telephone number
- The check number
- Amount
- Date issued
