Medicaid members less than 21 years old are now covered for an annual wellness visit once every calendar year. Previously, child wellness visits were only covered once every 12 months. This means children no longer have to wait 12 months from the date of their last wellness visit to be covered for an annual wellness visit every year.
Regular checkups are important at all ages. As a reminder, be sure to schedule annual wellness visits for all your patients.
